Beg-athon Alert

It's coming...Aug 16th to 92~Three and Sports Parkinglot 98~Seven. Nurse Jeff and I've decided to close the Media Hut for that week and get out of town...or at least out of the coverage area. The rest of you are on your own!

Probably on ESPN 620 as well. The Diamondbacks have that day off, so there won't be any conflicts.

The poolside bar at The Old Gringo Cantina in the Coachella Valley will be open, and the first two margaritas are complimentary!

Thanks for the offer! I'll make sure the '76 Gremlin is in top condition before hauling our buttocks across the desert from our hut to yours. Sea salt on my libation, Kosher on Nurse Jeff's.

We have local artisan sea salt from the Salton Sea. We'll try to find the lead-free version!

"Both the hypersalinity and presence of contaminants in the Salton Sea triggered massive die-offs in the fish and avian populations;"...

Are you trying to hurt Dr Akbar & Nurse Jeff with that first salt-laden margarita? ;)

Heavens, no! The Old Gringo and Los Buckeye Boyz are the best of buds. Only difference is he's posted 100 times the crap we've posted on this board. Salton Sea salted Margaritas sound darned close to interesting!

Well, it does seem to be a far more reliable indicator of monsoon storms than tea leaves or weather almanacs. Who can ever forget when Mac and Cheese were scolding listeners who had the audacity to question where Detour Dan was when there was baseball-sized hail pelting everyone and freeway overpasses were all flooded? How dare their listeners care about public safety when there's 2 millimeters of visibility outside?

Not nearly the fun here in market number 60-something, compared to that to the north of the Rio Gila!
