Beginner looking to connect first base station

Hello. Grandpa left me a Heathkit SB104 that I helped him build in the 70's. Had to custom wire a power supply as the original is shot, but the unit appears to now be functional. Is there a simple antenna I can buy/build for inside my basement without taking it outside, just to ensure the unit transmits and receives before building a big outdoor dipole? Thank you so much for all replies!

Heathkit had some really nice stuff!! My Dad and I had the "Hot Water (HW)" series of single-band transceivers for 75, 40 and 20 meters (HW-12, HW-22, HW-32).....We used them for years!!
If used with an antenna tuner (like an MFJ), a simple wire antenna or dipole should at least get you on the air....If you only want to TEST the rig, just get a dummy load for tuning up...Make SURE you use one that can handle whatever power the 104 puts out!!
Good Luck!
