Behind The Scenes

As the song goes, "Money makes the world go 'round."
Inside Radio 01.04.07 said:
Long Island low-dial boomer WLIE sells to Otto Miller's Principle Broadcasting Network. Business TalkRadio originally wanted to buy WLIE (540) from Stuart Henry - but last year Henry claimed BTRN missed its option window and struck a richer deal with lay-Catholic Starboard Media. But that deal cratered. Wednesday we got word from Charlie Banta's Mercury Capital Partners that it's backing ethnic radio specialist Otto Miller in acquiring WLIE.
Banta is based in Buffalo and was once managing partner of WGRF-WEDG-WHTT.
