BEHRINGER COMBINATOR SERVICE MANUAL

I believe for legal reasons, Behringer wants to pretend that one of their best processors by far (the mdx8000...aka The Combinator) never existed. This makes a service manual (including schematic & alignment procedure) exceedingly tough to find. Anyone have one that I can get a copy of? While I'd love to have the service manual, my more immediate desire is to have the pre-emphasis enabled, but the de-emphasis disabled in order to feed a stereo generator with a flat input. I suspect that unsoldering a couple of caps would do the trick, but I'm not willing to guess in light of the fact that if it stops working, I have no service manual. Anyone crossed this river before?
