Behringer Compression

I have a compressor, (NEW). I like this, but does anyone know of the correct settings that you set one on? I like the compressed am sound, but I think after a while it makes your ears tired. Anyone agree? Help? Let Me know.
 
i have a behringer as well. i just took a walkman, tuned in, then played around with different songs playing that i knew really well.
