Kind of odd that CIVT was carried (alongside CBUT, which has near-marketwide cable carriage in Seattle) but not CHAN, CHEK, CKVU, or CBUFT

Ch 6 and 8 were carried for years on cable in the '80s and '90s, and were easy rooftop antenna catches OTA in Whatcom County. I wonder if there were viewers even post-2009 in Whatcom County and the San Juans. It was almost like having a couple of years of bonus analog television, with CBC/CTV/Global/CityTV all available until 2011 from Vancouver, and many U.S. TV shows being aired.

Elements of Comcast's current expanded basic lineup were forming, I can see. The following cable networks are still on the same channels in Seattle/Snohomish County to this day:
Discovery Channel (8), what is now Hallmark (19), QVC (16), HSN (17), the two C-SPAN networks (24/25), TVW (23), History (37), TLC (38), what is now Freeform (39), Nick (40), Disney (41), Cartoon Network (42), Animal Planet (43), all the news networks and what is now TruTV (ch 44-49), Lifetime, A&E, FX, TNT, TBS, BET, the current Paramount Network, USA (51-58), Comedy Central, CMT, VH1 and MTV (60-64), and AMC (67). Discovery and Hallmark have been offered in *limited* basic for many years.
