What I DID say is that I do not understand the things he says he has done, and why he wrote an piece in "D" magazine exposing all that sordid stuff.

It is baffling to me as well as a post by someone that he would make a great minister.

But this is the age of "tell all", I guess.

Just my opinion, but I think Alexa is actually pretty good. Shifted around too much to really grow, but she could be very good with proper direction. How in the world could anyone shine when they have no idea what the ND will ask them to do tomorrow? Very tough. No need to call her names, since it obscures otherwise valid criticisms.

As for the D Magazine article, I didn't write it. Elise Pierce did, and I still don't know why they put it in the first person. A few pages out of more than 8 hours of interview, and it wasn't a matter of "telling all". It was purely a matter of utter tansparency. For years I'd misled many people in a very public fashion. Any act of contrition had to be equally public, followed by evidence of genuine change. Not everyone's way...but I couldn't sneak away any more than Paul could slip back into Jerusalem. And I didn't do it because I loved Jesus or God. I was scared witless, and was terrified that if something didn't change radically my kids would perpatuate the same bad behavior. In a city or a person who likes to hide mistakes, coming clean is the only thing that will heal.
