The Buffalo Broadcasters Association handed out its BEMAs -- Buffalo Excellence in Media Awards -- last night. Jud Heussler of WKSE, Kiss 98.5 was honored as 2013 Radio Personality of the Year. 97 Rock received the Radio Station of the Year Award. Rob Lucas of Star 102.5 earned the top award for Best Use of Social Media. And Eileen Buckley of WBFO was given the Pinnacle Award in recognition of career excellence. Congratulations to all the award winners and all the finalists for the awards. Special thanks goes to Heidi Raphael of the BBA who did a fantastic job of organizing what was a helluva party and celebration of broadcast excellence at Salvatore's last night!
