Bigby never wanted Ben and Skin and now he gets what he wants. He took away their style and turned them into two guys who take phone calls. Now the ax has fallen. Sean is moving to the 2-6 time slot with...........Dan O'Malley starting Monday. And no this isn't vacation. Will Ben and Skin go to 1360? If everyone is buying time at the station then Ben could sell it for them.
 
Not sure they were fired.. Heard a week ago they were leaving. Ben to go back into sales (Lots more Money) Skin to go to work for Mavs....
 
If they were walking they would have walked. Everybody needs a paycheck. Skin will be with the Mavs but they aren't going to pay him in July. Once he stays with the team for a couple years he will be pulling in money every month. With the way they are treated I hope they do quit but I don't think CBS is going to allow that to get out...you know how bad that would look.
 
B&S are, by far, the best that 105.3 currently has to offer, IMO. If B&S leave, then I won't ever listen to that station.
 
Saying Ben & Skin were the best thing on 105.3, is like saying one piece of dog shit does not smell as bad as another. It does not matter. It is still shit. Everyone on that station sucks and it is just a matter of time before CBS realizes that their sports talk experiment has failed. Flip the station now and get it over with.

That's like saying they are "the smartest kid with downs syndrome".
 
I wonder what their lineup at 105.3 will look like... I wonder what will happen to 10-2 & 3-7 shifts, since Sean Salisbury & Newy Scruggs: 10:00 am - 2:00 pm Weekdays and Ben & Skin: 2:00 - 6:00 pm Weekdays

I pretty much answered that with the first post but I left out 10-2 which will be Newy and whatever sports writer they can get to come in for the day and 2-6 will be Sean and Dan.

Well at least Dan is used to getting his *ss kicked in that time slot by the hardline. Don't believe that will change anytime soon.

I hope the little ticket let's Ben and Skin come back to the week-ends and Mavs post-game. They were darn good in those rolls- either having a whole week to come up with material for one show or confining themselves to basketball talk.

They just weren't ready for the big time. There is no shame in trying hard and coming up short.
