Ben Ferguson - new low for WBAP

Wednesday I was setting the buttons on my car radio and heard Ben Ferguson on WBAP going on and on and on about a little white girl who was raped by 13 illegal aliens.  That version of the story is being peddled on angrywhitedude.com, stormfront.org, freerepublic.com, and a number of racist sites.  The "rest of the story" is that 11 of the 13 were NOT
illegals, the 13 year old girl looks older , ran away from a youth rehab facility and let herself be picked up at a known prostitution corner.

A hispanic female caller was finally allowed on the air to protest Ferguson's painting of all immigrants as violent child rapists.  His response was that he was not painting ALL of them as child rapists, but since we know SOME OF THEM are, why should "our society" take the chance of letting ANY of them stay.

The same argument could be made for Jews, Blacks, Catholics, Native Americans, Irish, Asians (and WAS  in the dark side of American history.)

This is just a new low for WBAP.  I seldom agreed with Mark Davis on many issues, but he never never race-baited or used show-prep material culled from white supremacist websites.

HAHAHAHA...now that is funny

As a hispanic, I agree with Ben. I didn't realize this was a political forum but as long as we're giving our opinions, I think the policy on illegal felons ( yes, they are all felons) is incredibly dangerous.

As a pasty white dude, so do I. However, perhaps the OP should call in to Mr. Ferguson's show and express his displeasure rather than making his statement here.

I don't know Mr. Ferguson from anything other than his show.
He is not very good. I think he is inexperienced enough to foolishly pull info from flakey sources.
Mark Davis does not do that. WBAP screwed up when they brought in Ferguson and let Davis go. The ratings may be okay, but the prestige of the station is rapidly deteriorating.

Ben Ferguson

I consider Ben Ferguson to be the "shouting retard" of WBAP. Where did they scrape him up from?

Ben runs a fairly chaotic show. There's nothing smooth about his delivery. He has some very annoying habits which include loud lip smacking and numerous loud sighs but what I find the most annoying is how he repeats his sentences two or three times. He repeatedly gives the phone number and saying he'll now take calls, then rambles on and on, repeating himself until there's no time left for calls. He always invites listeners to catch his "national show" on Sunday evenings, but his "national show" is in fact a repeat of the last Friday's live Dallas show. WBAP airs a huge amount of repeats all week long.

Is he rambling and not leaving time for calls, or is he filling time while waiting for someone to call? I've wondered the same thing while listening to Chris Krok in the evening.
