Many of you probably didn't know this guy but you've heard his work. He was a part of PAMs and Gwensound back in the early days and has been running the oldest jingle company in the world. I only got to know Ben back in last September when I bought his DVD packages of generic cuts for my Internet station. Ben had been offering a couple of DVDs with thousands of beds, mixouts, sonos and shouts that he had produced over the years in his current company and the jingle companies he was associated with. He was a good guy and really had a passion for cool jingles. Here's his obit as well as the link to his website.
Ben was 63 and died of a heart attack.
