My brother lives in Columbus. Columbus is one of those NFL towns, where you are either a Bengals fan, a Browns fan, or a Steelers fan.
Geographically, I think that the TV networks will air a Steelers home game to Columbus or a Browns home game to Columbus rather then a Cincinnati game.
Someone had made a comment about wondering why CC would air Bengals games on 700, 102.7 and another station...I think it probably is due to the fact that CC has the capability to air games on those stations, and if you think about it- the demographics of people that go to the games are going to be tailgating at the stadium before the game, so why not air the games on WEBN... at most the older die-hards of all of those old rock bands that are played to death on EBN (Zeppelin, Stones, etc.) will be played right up until game time kickoff. CC got two birds with one stone- old music to get drunk to while you tailgate, and then the losing team of Cincinnati playing another bad football game.
