Bernie Mann

APE ... right before we saw the front door the last time, we met the rep from First Union who was "in the house" on a regular basis ... MM1

APE ... We were shown the door in January 04 ... I'm thinking we met him in December ... our engineer, Steve Worford, got into some sort of tiff with the guy after we got bounced ... Stevie was keeping him up to speed on the engineering side of things ... Max

Sorry ... January 94 ... hey I'm old and the fingers sometimes do what they want ... last I heard Jeff was in Buffalo ... that's if my brain hasn't fried as well .. Max

First Union help the paper on WWWB. When Bernie went into default on the loan, the bank hired him to run the stations until a buyer could be found. Owner was then transferred to William E. Smith and Bernie continued to run the show. Wasn't until the Feb 14, 1994 that AMFM took over and Bernie was out of work (along with several others).
