This is getting annoying, at least for the past week whenever I tune in, I hear these phone calls where they do the voice disguiser...Is this all they are dong? It sounds awful...
 
When it comes to equipment operation, Mr Weiss is often one or two candles short of a manorah. His content, though, is normally topical.
 
It probably is - or with just one 'r'. The comment stays though... sometimes the boy's candleabra ain't totally lighted technically.. But, he understands his audience and relates to them. And is rewarded wuith some success in listenership for it.
 
Bert's not the only "one trick pony." It is probably a good thing The Kimmer has retired officially since all the objects of his talented "caller on hot line" have died. The guy was good, but if you listened closely (which obviiously Kimmer's fans didn't) you could tell it was the same voice.

And the voice disguiser is a neat gimmick for Bert. Anybody else who uses it now will be slammed as a copy-cat.
