They'll probably wait until after the new year to announce anything (if there is anything to announce), like a lot of stations do.I'm surprised that Q99.7 hasn't announced a new morning show by now.
With people flipping around the dial at holiday time, it seems like it would be a good time to at least hype that something is brewing, even if they don't say exactly what.
I'm surprised Star 94 hasn't run a billboard or TV ads announcing Kevin and Taylor. With Bert off the air, it seems like an opportune time.I'm surprised that Q99.7 hasn't announced a new morning show by now.

The entire Bert Show staff was let go when the show ended as they worked for his company directly and not Cumulus. Not to say that Cumulus couldn't hire any of them, but all but one have indicated they're not staying on Atlanta radio.Since they dominate CHR (signal wise) in Atlanta I doubt they will go for expensive talent. Most likely they will use what's left of the Bert cast or VT and go the more music morning route.
Yes, Q99-7 has little in the way of direct CHR competition, but that doesn’t mean they don’t have to compete with other stations for listeners. Far from it. They share audience with B98.5 and Star 94 among others.Since they dominate CHR (signal wise) in Atlanta I doubt they will go for expensive talent.
