Best AC stations in the country (that have online stream)

I am now going to list some of the best AC stations I have heard in the country. That is, they have a wide variety of music, little to no syndicated programming, and a decent online stream. Here are some of the ones I've heard:

95.7 WZID - Manchester, NH
WeBe 108 - Bridgeport, CT
Ocean 104.7 - Orleans/Hyannis, MA
WTCB 106.7 - Columbia, SC
WMGS Magic 93 - Scranton/Wilkes-Barre, PA

Anyone wanna add anymore to the list? Again, they don't have to be local (though if you think your local AC station is good enough, list it).

Mix 98.7 Jackson (mix987.com)

They have John Tesh in middays (M-Sat.) and Donny Osmond at night, but the music is programmed locally and such a wide variety from Taio Cruz to Loggins & Messina. They also have a block of 80s programming on Saturday with BackTrax USA and the Amazing 80s[/url].

Sunny 95 is practically like WZID, as it is also owned by Saga. WZID also has what they call the "Oh wow" song that they play at noon every day, which will be a song that rarely gets played.

Magic 104.1 KMGL from Oklahoma City, OK is a very good station. It's like average stations except they lean more on 70's and 80's. Too bad the station don't have online streaming anymore. They took off their online streaming player in 2009 due to high escalating royalty fees and they never put on the online streaming player again, sorry. I listen to this station when I visit OKC with my parents.

Hmm... seems like Renda Broadcasting had brought back online streaming for their stations (including Magic 104.1 KMGL) in Oklahoma City about a week ago. Now I can listen to KMGL online from Dallas once again.

Go to http://www.magic104.com/ and click on the "Listen Live" button in the top right corner of their webpage.

Direct link to Magic 104.1 KMGL online streaming player: http://socialstreamingplayer.crystalmedianetworks.com/radio/kmgl
I was looking to see if WEJZ was streaming again but they aren't. They used to be a very good AC musically but have declined greatly.

Same here, as I noticed KMGL and all Renda stations in OKC are streaming, I checked WEJZ, WSHH, and other Renda stations outside OKC, but none of them are streaming online. I believe they might be working on it.

KMGL recently updated their playlist 3 weeks ago, it sounds better than before and gotten less aggressive than before.

Oh yeah, I forget to mention that Renda Broadcasting also made their stations (including Magic 104.1 KMGL) in Oklahoma City available to several smart phones including the iPhone/iPod Touch/iPad, Android, Blackberry, Palm, Samsung Bada, Windows Phone through the TuneIn Radio app around the end of June.

Since then, I don't even need my computer much to listen to KMGL. I just start using my dad's iPod Touch 4G that my dad doesn't listen to, use, or play with much anymore to listen to KMGL. Ever since, I plugged my iPod instead of my computer into my stereo system to listen to KMGL. Now, I listen to KMGL through my iPod while I'm in college or anywhere with Wi-Fi. :D Although, I still always wished that I still live in OKC to listen to KMGL. :p

I listened to Renda's WEJZ in Jacksonville over the weekend. Talk about boring and outdated. They have a hot AC sound with 90s music but are barely playing any AC currents.

KZST in Santa Rosa is another good one, & their music quality is good, despite it's better than most of the Clear Channel & other AC's out there. They'll play the current #1 AC hit on the Billboard chart, "Rolling In the Deep," only just a few times a week.

How does that compare to My 102.5?

I noticed the real estate woman whose anme is on a lot of For Sale signs in one town near where I live is named Renda.

Here in Denver, that honor would belong to the Entercomm cluster which has.....

KOSI 101.1 Website (Soft AC)
KALC 105.9 Website (Hot AC)

Both have on site web streams

Cheers & 73 ;D

5 years ago I would have said KOST Los Angeles. Now, I wouldn't even think of it. It's the only pure AC in town and doesn't even resemble the great station it once was. KOSI in Denver gets my vote.
