> Best & Worst AM Show---- best: Mike Evans & Crew from K97. Worst: Karson and Kennedy
> Best & Worst Midday show--- best: Kristy Lane 103.5, worst: that's tricky!
> Best & Worst PM Show --- honestly FM 100, 88.5fm, K97 and V101 have good PM shows, other stations lag behind personally.
> Best & Worst Night show-- best: Loveman from WQOX 88.5fm, worst: Q107.5
> Best & Worst Weekend show--- best: Stan Bell worst: overnight dude on FM 100
> Biggest Surprise This Year-- Smooth Jazz flipping to Power 99 =(
> Most Disappointing Station This Year-- Power 99
> Friendliest Air Talent- Tie: Tom P. from FM 100 or Chris Malone WQOX 88.5fm
> Best Voice (Male)- Tom P. from FM 100
> Best Voice (Female)-- Angela Jackson V101.1, Janeen Gordon K97
> Sexiest Voice -- Rick Wagner aka Loveman - WQOX
> Best and Worst Promotion- best: Paternity test on K97 worst: Clear Channel's generic "Million Dollar" contest..worst thing for radio period!
> Best and Worst New Idea- best: Whatever Weekends worst: stations flipping to all Christmas way too early.
> Biggest Comeback-- KIX 106!!! Good job, keep those numbers up
> Worst Nightmare -- Citadel flips to all syndicated programming before 2007

So, how do yo do this without making someone upset?

Anyway, here goes.

>
> Best & Worst AM Show

Best: Wake up Crew / Worst: Mike and Mandy
Honorable mentions to WDIA and Henry Nelson at 103.5

> Best & Worst Midday show

Best: Jill at FM 100 / Worst: Megan at The Max

> Best & Worst PM Show

Best: Tom P and/or Lugnut

> Best & Worst Night show

Worst: Garner Miller edges out Jarman
Why FM 100 let Rick go defies common sense...

> Best & Worst Weekend show

I though our esteemed moderator at FM 100 sounded great

> Biggest Surprise This Year

Flip to Power 99

> Most Disappointing Station This Year

FM 100 - Sooooo much potential, but they just can't get over the hump
Dishonorable mention - The Max

> Friendliest Air Talent

Tom P. Say whay you will, he's very personable on the air

> Best and Worst New Idea

There were new ideas??

> Biggest Comeback

Kix 106 (at least for one book)

> Worst Nightmare

Air America on a 10KW signal...but this too shall pass.

So, how long have you been over at 'QOX? :)<P ID="signature">______________

This may draw some disagreement... but the best thing I have heard on radio in a while are the "Whatever" weekends on FM 100.... That is all I have had a chance to listen to since I don't get over there much. I spend most of my time in the car flipping constantly... When they started that my radio stayed on 99.7 for the entire weekend.

I'm messin' with ya. Just noticed WQOX was very prominent in your list. I was there 1976-1979.

You said 'volunteered'. Is that how they staff it now or is it still all students?

Yeah, I was an adult volunteer along with a few more. School students mostly do remote broadcast and production. They have a few paid jocks over there too..

I'm answering the ones I can

> Best & Worst AM Show
Best: Wake Up Crew
Worst: Kid Kraddick (just because it's syndicated doesn't mean it's better)

> Best & Worst Midday show
Best: Chris Vernon (pre-move to afternoons)
Worst: John Rainey

> Best & Worst PM Show
Best: Dennis & Rick
Worst: Brad & Dana (not because of them, but because you can tell they're bailing water)

> Best & Worst Weekend show
Best: Cody Fletcher, Rock 103 (Watch him...he's got real potential)
Worst: Fox All Access (Shill much? I hope The Buzz gets paid for it airing)

> Biggest Surprise This Year
Leslie Wolfe leaving Rock 103

> Most Disappointing Station This Year
98.1 The Max. A golden opportunity dropped in and flushed down.

> Friendliest Air Talent
Stan Bell, V101

> Best Voice (Male)
Tim Spencer

> Best Voice (Female)
Melody Meadows, Total Traffic Network (She puts a lot of air talent to shame in a 30 second report)

> Worst Nightmare
George Flinn, FCC Chairman
