Best Audio in the Market

Took the kids to Disney World last week and played around with the rental car radio.

Best audio in the market (IMO) was:

XL106.7

WPOZ

KQ103.

I was told by a local friend that KQ103 just made a big improvement in recent weeks.

Anybody have any info?

Definitely place WPOZ on that list. Always sounds great.

Hello. I can't tell you about kq 103 because i don't listen to that station. Have not audio nerded on that since July. Every station the people of z 88.3 do sounds really good. Including the new 106.3 the rock. XL if defanatly one of the better sounding CC stations. Sunny 105.9 also sounds really good. I have noticed that some music on WPRK has been very low in volume. Almost have to max my radio to hear it times. Just figured i'd point this out. :)

We at WPRK got a new audio board just last week.
Now we have a new engineer that took the sound from "Loud Rock" to "Soft Rock".
He (the engineer) made another adjustment just earlier today that brought up the low audio levels, which I think did the trick.

We're also in process of having an automation system, now already with 30,000 songs in the database, with many more new adds to come.
I'm surprised someone brought up WPRK.
Love live this great radio station I've been on since 2005. 8)

My friend who works at KQ103 told me they dumped airaura box for an omnia.11. The wheatstone folks came with their new v: 2.0 software and couldn't come close to what Omnia.11 is able to do.

The best am audio is 580 hands down. I'm listening to them stunting to espn and it really sounds good. I really hope they do keep the magic games on 96.5 but if they are only on 580 that's ok.
