BEST BA McBRIDE STORY EVER!!

3:45 pm on Monday 03/13/2006

After finishing up the pointless interview with the Piedmont Wind Symphony chick, BA turned poignant

(I'll paraphrase)

BA: Some of you may have heard this, but actress Maureen Stapleton has passed away. She was eighty years old.

(she then played a clip from "All in the Family")

BA: I always loved that show. Edith was the best. I remember--

PRODUCER BOY: Ummm...that was Jean Stapleton. JEAN Stapleton was Edith Bunker. She didn't die. MAUREEN Stapleton died.

BA: Oh. So, it wasn't Edith? Oh, Jim, how do I get out of this one?

(she then stumbles and mumbles into the commercial break)

I dearly wish I had that one on tape

I find myself compelled to listen everyday, not to sound mean or vindictive; it's just like a sore tooth...
