Best Broadcast software new version and free

Zararadio has just released a new verison of their broadcast software. Version 1.4.4. The thing I like most is the ability to choose time slots for announcements. I like to play my part 15 promo every 30 mins. It takes a moment to put it on the program and runs fine. The site is in spanish but dont worry. During downloading it will ask you what language, simply select english. Here is the website to download from
http://www.zararadio.com/index.php?centro=descargas.php

It has a lot of nice features, one of which is a "satellite feed" option where you can bring up a "line in" feed for a predetermined length of time. One downside, the audio cuts out every now and then for about 5 seconds, I may be running to much on my machine. THANKS for the link!

I have been using it today seems to be pretty stable...Esp like the agc feature
it keeps all sounds pretty much at one level...I will be replacing my current
automation system with it after it goes through testing this weekend...Very good software so far...

DSP Sound Solution Plugin?

Has any one been successful in adding the Sound Solutions plugin to work with this automation software?

I read both the English and the Spanish forums but have yet to figure how they added the DSP this... the 'Plug-ins' tool will not pick up the Sound Solutions plug-in when selected to use it.

Nice software and great interface....

Re: Anybody running this under windows 98SE?

I tryed it under windows 98SE, said it needed a DLL to run.... Probally made for XP.... Juts wanted to know if anyone is running this under 98SE... If so, did you have a DLL problem?

The time announcement file is located at the bottom of the page but it's in Spanish:

inffostec_locuciones.zip

Instead if you have the Dirrectorie downloaded, go to the 'Time' folder in Dirrectorie and copy all the time files into the 'Time' folder of the ZaraRadio directory... you're done!

"I still don`t get it... Why does Sound Solution work with the Sqr Soft Advanced Crossfading (that I use with winamp) and doesn`t work with Zara Radio?"

Original question from ZaraRadio Forum....

I have no problem with it right now... The only problem is when you use the fading function as I see, I turned it off as well as the AGC as I am using a seperate DSP for leveling the music.... I do notice the occasional 'clicks' from one song to the next and haven't figured what is causing it... all my songs have a 3 second silence before and after, this way there is a slight pause and I can adjust the delay with the automation... but it's not the cause for the clicks... sounds just like the needle being dropped into the groove of a record!

Re: DSP Sound Solution Plugin?

Re: DSP Sound Solution Plugin?

It needs a limiter plugin very badly, i got the compressor wider plugin they recommend, but without a limiter it makes a mess...Cant use the agc with this plugin either it kicks holes in the compressor..maybe i wont be changing out my
automation next week...

Re: Anybody running this under windows 98SE?

Downloaded it, installed it, ran it with no problems with Win98SE.
No extras (dll, etc.) had to be installed.

Haven't learned all its tricks/details, yet, because (even though I clicked on "English") Help Menu is in Spanish. I'm still finding out what its features are by clicking around.

The only software player that i found handles the Sound Solution with ease is the Playlist Creator. It handles a lot of plug-ins and it's been performing well. It has breaks and Voice tracking, and now I have my OTS whichisn't compatible with the SS, up for sale. It works great, but it's not plug-in compatible.
