Best Buy will stop selling Blu-rays, DVDs in 2024

Because very few customers buy DVDs in 2023, and that's been the case for more than a few years now. Best Buy and other stores can better use the racks currently displaying DVDs that few are buying, and instead use that same space to sell other stuff that today's modern consumers will spend their $$ on. Technology marches on. In the case of movies - streaming, internet viewing, apps and downloaded content stored on media with tons of memory is what most everyone is using.
