best coax cable to use from antenna to radio tuner

Got a good one...
I have noticed the different coax cables I use, the difference in signal I get from my antenna to my radio. I am in a very fringe area and i notice that when i move the 5ft coax cable that the signal is affected too. I was curious if there was a certain brand/Kind of coax cable to help me eliminate the coax cable being the antenna too... I am using a Terk-Fm-50 Pro hooked up to a Sangean Hd Radio tuner as well as a Carver Tx-11 tuner ( I switch off the 2)
p.s are there any antenna's that are as good as the Terk fm 50 for indoor use?
thanks

What may be happening is that the coax shield is picking up the incoming signal and re-radiating it toward the receive antenna. If the phase and amplitude of that re-radiation has certain characteristics it can cancel or partially cancel the signal at the antenna itself.

You could try installing the antenna with the cable leading straight down from it for at least 5 feet.
