CBC Calls It Off: New Host For "As It Happens"CBC RADIO ONE names former CBC-TV "COUNTERSPIN" host CAROL OFF as the new co-host of the network's flagship show, "AS IT HAPPENS." OFF, who started as a freelance reported for CBC RADIO's "ARTS REPORT" and as OTTAWA correspondent for "SUNDAY MORNING" and QUEBEC correspondent for the news department before moving to TV in 1993, replaces MARY LOU FINLAY, who retired in NOVEMBER, alongside incumbent co-host BARBARA BUDD.

"As It Happens" is heard five days a week on CBC Radio One and on American Public Media. http://americanpublicmedia.publicradio.org/newstalk/CBC Radio One stations and most APM public radio stations stream the program online at various times each evening.
