Best Dance song...and why

My favorite, well I have 2 Da-rude Next to you, and Plasma - do you believe, I like them because it just sounds realy good when you crank them up ;).

There has been a few over the years, especially in the 90s. The classic House stuff was the best, as far as standing out, and not being so disposable. A good example would be Nightcrawlers-Push the feeling on. There are alot more, but that is one that comes to mind, right now. More recently would probably be anything from the Basement Jaxx, I really enjoy there diverse sounds.

Right on Midwest,

Nightcrawlers never get old for me as well as Hardrive "Deep Inside", Chantay Savage "Don't Let It Go To Your Head (remix)" and "Round We Go" Big Sista.

Couple of others: Jaya "If you leave me now" and Tony Moran-Concept of One "Dance With Me"

2 Brothers on the 4th floor "I Can't Help Myself"

I think it's because of the unique sound, deep bass groove, various percussion sounds and overall movement of the song. Basically B-96 and Hot 97 from 1988-95.
Good stuff. Miss those days!

I loved the remake of Nightcrawlers released in 2003. Others include

Sash - Mysterious Times
Faithless - God is a DJ
Jason Nevins - I'm in Heaven
I'm sure there is more

The one song I never get sick of is Delerium - Silence. I hated the original, and thought the Paul Oakenfold remix was terrible. Then Energia 97,7 in Brasil started to play the Tiesto 12" remix they had chopped into a radio edit. Just the sound of it coming off a sweeper and that rumbling beginning makes my hair on my neck stand up. It's one of those moments in radio/music that rarely happen, but I can listen to that song endless.

I would have to choose "Love & Happiness" by River Ocean Featuring India. That has been one of my favorite house songs of the last 15 years. It's such an amazing song. The latin beats and instruments, the bass, and India's beautiful voice. The House Nation Mix that was on the 12" single is my mix of choice.

I really liked how this track had a 120-ish bpm, but it sounded faster (I guess it just feels like it is faster), and just had that right amount of everything.

I think this one will be around in another 20 years. It's a classic.<P ID="signature">______________

> There was a recent REMIX of this track in 03, or 04, but it was still released under the name NIGHTCRAWLERS. The original came out in 1993, also under the name (NIGHTCRAWLERS). There was also a remix done 1995, also under the name (Nightcrawlers), and it sounded like the original, except it had a stronger beat to it, and not quite as deep and erie sounding as the 1993 original. Both the 93, and 95 versions were very popular, and still continue to get Played today by DJs and radio stations around the world. The more recent version is pretty disposable though, it sounds nothing like the other two.

Man, I'd have to disagree. Push the Feeling on 2003 got heavy airplay on 97 in Sao Paulo. I thought it was awesome. I still like the original, but it's more moody house music. It sorta kinda reminds me of MK-Burning from way back in the day.

Push the Feeling on was released in the US in 2004 and I know it got airplay on Energy 981. The copy I have is from the Comando 97 CD Volume 4 from Radio station Energia 97 FM. They more or less sound alike.

GREAT List Justin. I would have to agree with at least half of it, mainly the older tracks.

There's a couple that really hit my heart:

Hannah - Blinded
Tess - The Second You Sleep (although it's new I am loving it already)
Stellar Project - Get Up Stand Up
Dee Robert - I Believe

They all have made a lasting impression on me. The background of the songs are amazing and I love the vocals.

Here are my candidates:

"What U did 2 Me" (the Freestyle Remix) by Rockell

"You Are The One" by TKA

"Rhythm Is A Dancer" by SNAP!

"Show Me Love" and "Love For Love" by Robin S.

"I Like It" by Narcotic Thrust

"El Trago (The Drink)" by 2 In A Room (this is a mustplay for me when DJing. This song brings a lot of memories from big parties at the community college I attended when this track came out).

"Love Comes Again" by Tiesto featuring BT (Gotta love the elaboration of this track! :D )

"As The Rush Comes" by Motorcycle

"Sexual (Li da di)" By Amber (Thunderpuss remix)

"Fly Tetas" by Jose C#¡ng@ (sorry people, bu this is one of the craziest Dance songs ever recorded in the U.S.)

"Can't Get Over You" by Lil Suzy (this song has a lot of sentimental value to me for a lot of reasons.)

"One More Time" by Daft Punk

"Days Gone By" by Dirty Vegas

"Sinful Wishes" by Outta Control (I Love both the Original extended, and the Freestyle extended mix). My offical "Let me get busy and start to freak" song!!
