I'd have to say...
Jay Cee:Wbmk,Wemg,
Brother John:Wdmf
knoxville

WBMK, the only competition that shook the boots off of wkgn in it's latter years.
lol!!!

Larry Swayback Styles, WBMK

I thought Styles was called 'Sweetback'. It could just have easily have been Swayback. Those were the days when many experimented with memory-influencing substances. And by 'many', I mean 'me'.

"Slick" Maurice was great, too. 2-6am on WNOX in the 70's. Lots of after-the-bars-closed visits to Robby's Pancake House after his live ads reminded us to get something to eat on the way home. I kept hearing over the years that he passed away, or that he moved in to his mother's house after she passed away, or that he got married and moved. If he's still around, he'd be perfect for Hot 104.5.

Brian Scott.....As much as it pains me to say so....though all(or at least most) were local legends, none could hold a candle to the major market talent brought in by the "Q"......ok, maybe "The Nature Boy," Mike "Rock n Roll" Padgett but none of the others not even my very close personal friends on your list(though we do sppreciate you listing us.) It's too bad that you never had a chance to listen to the "Q" in its prime.
