Best/Favorite AC station?

I have to say I listened to a lot of AC stations and thought the best one I ever heard in terms of music selection was KUMU 94.7 in Hawaii when I was on vacation there earlier this year. It used to be KMZQ Lite 100.5 in Las Vegas, NV but they changed that years ago. Unfort. they don't stream but I heard back from one of them that it's coming one of these days or something. What's the best AC station you have ever heard? KUMU 94.7 rules!

The best AC station that I have ever heard is KFMN FM 96.9, "Kauai's FM 97 @ 96.9." They play mostly music of the 80s, 90s, and today, with an occasional sprinkling of a 60s or 70s tune. When they play a 60s or 70s song, they say, "FM 97 remembers the year 19xx." KFMN doesn't stream either. KFMN also airs radio grams to with someone a happy birthday.

Musically, I'm loving WWFS "Fresh 102.7" New York. They aren't that exciting personality wise, but I love their current-intensive approach to AC. It's basically "bright AC" that really borders on Hot AC except that it's more mainstream and less pop/alternative leaning like too many Hot AC's are. I love their focus on just the 90s and 2000's, and I find myself listening to their webstream almost daily.
Not sure if others like "Fresh 102.7" or not, but for me (and others in their 30's), Fresh is what the future of AC needs to sound like (at least musically).

This isn't the first time that I have heard someone describe a station as "bright ac"....is this a growing term in the industry?

Here in the New York Metro, I missed what 106.7 Lite-FM used to be..the great music of the last 30 years, they were the home of legendary New York voices like Frank Sinatra, Barbra Streisand, Neil Diamond, Tony Bennett along with the 80s and early 90s lite music as well. That to me is what a true lite/AC station should be. Not Daughtry or Pink or whatever other crap trying to pull in younger people. Fresh 102.7 is the complete opposite of what AC should be. No personality, no image, bunch of line card readers..liners attacking Lite-FM which turn off more people than not. Probably why they're near the bottom in the Winter ratings.
