Best fill-in hosts used

Who do you think are the best fill-in hosts that the various nationally syndicated talkers use?

Larry Elder on Dennis Prager's show is pretty good.

I like Mark Simone as a fill-in for Hannity, actually better thah I like Hannity himself. Most of Rush's fills are fair to middlin', but I'll often switch over to Willie on WLW when there is a fill.

Speaking of fill in hosts, what ever happened to Jason Lewis as a fill in on Rush's show?

Premiere gave him his own national show. It's from 6-9 Eastern. Coincidentally, he's competing with another popular Limbaugh fill-in-gone-national, Roger Hedgecock.

I once listened to Mark Simone filling in for Hannity, and it was pretty awful. I was not impressed. Barry Farber on the other hand was much much better.

Mark Steyn filling in for Rush Limbaugh or Hugh Hewitt. Gotta love the sarcastic wit served up with that quizzical British accent.

Speaking of Hewitt, he was paying tribute last night to Dean Barnett, his very capable fill-in host who passed away a year ago yesterday.

There is a local guy named Glenn Meakem who has gotten much better as a fill-in for Quinn and Rose in the Morning. Quinn has suffered from a long string of disastrous fill-in hosts. One of his former fill-ins, Herman Cain, is sounding much better down at WSB these days.

Once in awhile Jackie Mason fills in for Mark Levin, which has a certain entertainment value.
