Best G/SP Sound/Processing?

oops! In case there are those who don't remember, 1440 AM used to be Top-40 WQOK.

Kinda left that out....
 

I agree completely....the Contemporary Christian songs are worse than a lot of the other ones, IMO. I dont know why, maybe it is recording facilities/equipment but the quality is not impressive, as compared with regular top-40 which doesn't really sound that great. WLFJ-F sounds pretty clean, but flat...not sure how 106.9 sounds.

Jim....you all have WESC sounding pretty good! Probably the best sounding FM in the cluster. Good job. Certainly beats My and definately Whistle.

I have to agree with you to a certain extent...we have so much of that around here...notably 89.3, 106.9, 104.1 and its translators, which musically looks the same as 96...how much do we really need??? Entercom couldn't do it, this certainly can't. Anything at this point would do better. They should have just kept The Buzzard.

Whose idea was CCM on 96.7 anyway? IIRC, CC doesn't have many contemporary christian stations. Actually, according to the CC station search, they don't have any (96.7 is listed as rock still).
 
YES I've run into snakes at the WESC site. Had the (dis)pleasure of opening up the generator to something moving in there once and it was on a cool night thankfully. I miss that site. It was at the time so quiet and peaceful, my cell didn't work even (a bonus). All that site needs is a fridge and a cot, you're set *grin*. Those would've been nice that day I drove up to reset the h.v. breaker during an ice storm.
