One thing is for certain.
Ravenna won't get a chance to say goodbye on the air. ELB already cut her loose.

Sorry to hear. Ravenna was the only V personality doing anything different this week, at least that got to me (special music mix). I hope my post didn't cause that, though it was all over Facebook before I posted.
Bad move by ELB. Ravenna is classy, and wouldn't have done anything but said a goodbye on Friday...she wouldn't trash either owner, etc.

Exactly why this station failed.
I would have done more than yelled, I would have fired the jock on the spot.
johnbasalla said:Was the FB post from Ravenna or John? If not, I kind of wonder if it's true as it doesn't make sense for someone to get all worked up when the end is so close anyway.

So funny... ;D.......so sad....so true...but mostly funny! ;D
And the fired consultant is now posting a story on Facebook about the fired PD calling a fired jock? :![]()
GAL.
By the way, I didn't see anyone wearing a V107.3 t-shirt throwing themselves off the I-480 bridge when their favorite disc jockey's did not get to "say good bye" on the air.
Should be interesting to watch how the new owners restore the brand name ( Wave ) and attack WDOK, the king pin AC.

In a word yes. All they need is a position on the presets. Like I said, how they do this will be interesting. They obviouusly found value in the old name, and most likely to some degree, the smooth jazz " format.
