Is he wrong 100% of the time? I mean, imaging is fun, but even the best imaging directors sometimes have to get their jobs done quickly, as I'm sure you know...

radiocraze won't. But I already have, and I can tell you that Mr. Craze is quite the creative imaging guy himself...a "rising star" in imaging, if you will.
Personally, I know my work at Cool (May 02-Nov 03) wasn't dazzling, but some of it was funny. It was more a case of finding the best ways to create within your parameters set by your PD - you've got the voice guy he selected, the libraries he made available, etc.. Though I enjoyed working on the stuff for Pat, it wasn't always easy to get my more creative ideas on the radio, and harder still to realize a lot of them with so much time being taken up with commercial production, etc. (not a problem you have, from what I understand) I did get dinged sometimes, but that's the point of him being the PD. It's his call.
I just find it really sad that you took such a hostile tact in responding to radiocraze.
Neither of you should be ripping your fellow CSDs - imaging people should stick together and root for each other (and steal liberally from each other if it's good...). We get enough crap from PDs and salespeople without complicating matters further.
That's just my hippy (meaning wide hips, not granola) opinion, though.
