Best Imaging voice for Classic Rock?

S McCoy said:
Steve Kelly

Yeah, Steve Kelly, quality...I'm also a big fan of Mark Maurer who voiced my active rocker back in the late-90s, AND Rich Van Slyke, who voiced my mainstream rocker a few years ago.

#1. Ernie Anderson (r.i.p)
#2. Vic Caroli
#3. Always been a fan of Jeff Berlin
#4. Chris Corley (but he's oversaturated the market now)
#5. Matt Damrow (www.DamrowVO.com), ok, cheap plug, sorry.
REAL #5: Brian Christopher w/ william morris (Credit include Q104.3 [nyc] & "Chapelle SHow)

Good Luck,

Matt

Steve "Zeus" Stewart.

I don't know if he still does radio imaging, but I'm going to throw Bill St. James' name into the hat.

Have not seen Charlie Van Dyke on the list....anyone use him?

*finger snap* That's the name I was trying to remember! He used to image the now-long-defunct oldies station where I worked in the southeast. The other jocks and I would say that he sounded sinister, like the serial killer beneath the bed. I'm pretty sure it was a compliment, though! When you've got the voice of a serial killer going into The Shirelles or Leslie Gore, how can you go wrong? The only thing that mattered was that it was B I G.

We used Mark Driscoll for 10+ years at KRZR and Mark Maurer still sounds STRONG on KJFX. I'd recommend either one!

David Lee. I don't know if he still voices music stations, but I love hearing him on radio football broadcasts. He has such a cool voice. I remember him when he was a jock back in the day at WAPL/Appleton..The Rockin' Apple.

The Voice of the WWE. Concerts..Vegas shows.

Doesn't do a lot of local radio station voice work anymore. Did a couple of radio stations in New Hampshire a few years ago; ROCK 101 in Manchester then BIG 101.5 in the Lakes Region.
