Interesting thread on the Boston board (afternoon jocks there - but let's keep it even more basic). Does it hold up here???
Providence/New Bedford/Cape Cod all eligible since I see them all post here.
Who's "classic"? Who deserves kudos?

Cruisin Bruce (hope he finds his way back to Prov. from Worcester)
Joanie E. (for longevity if nothing else)

Hi Everyone,

I am humbled to be listed among such great company! Thank you.

This is my first post although I stop by from time to time to see wuddup back home. Here's my list of Providence all-stars! Some of them had so much impact you only need to see their first names:

Salty
Rocky
Carolyn

Also:
Magic Mark Anthony (nites on PRO-FM prior to me)

Rick O'B on HJY was THE smoothest rock jock I ever heard

David Simpson in the 80's

Tyler on PRO FM. I actually got to work with him when we signed on KIX 106 in '88 and then again when I arrived at Y100 Miami in '99 (he was nights on our classic rock, BIG 106).

Thanks for the trip down memory lane! :)

Tony Banks (the DJ formerly known as TJ)

I'm late to this thread, but guys I enjoyed listening to in their heydays -

Davy (David) Jones when he on WPRO-AM in the early 70s
Gene Michael McKay - WSVP, circa 1972-73
Howard Hoffman - PRO-FM, 1974-75(?)
