Best Local Commercials

JeeperOne

Banned
Since we already have a thread on the worst local TV commercials, I thought I'd start one covering THE BEST local TV commercials. I'll start.....

Here in Denver, my nod would have to go to Rocky's Autos. Here are a few examples.....

Example One
Example Two
Example Three

What are your favorites?

Cheers :D

The reason why the ads for Denver's Rocky Auto Sales are so popular is because, well its kinda like watching Family Guy. In other words nobody really knows what to expect. For example Rocky Auto sales a few years ago was a sponsor for not only Denver Pride but even paid in cash for the float used in the Denver Pride parade for the Front Range Bears ( a local social group for gay men )..Yet at the very same time they had gave money to groups in FAVOR of California's Prop 8, the law that had banned gay marriage in that state. Figure THAT one out. Well anyway their ads kinda reflect that and everyone in Denver knows it. One ad..dead serious...the next..pure comedy so nobody really knows what to expect. Of course being endorsed by local "trouble shooter" Tom Martino doesn't hurt either.

In short..their ads are great but nobody really knows what to expect from Rocky.

Former New York Giants player Brad Benson now owns an auto retail chain, and while the spots are mostly (if not only) on radio, they're creative, though sometimes, the content is suggestive, much to the chagrin of one certain sports media writer at the New York Post... ::)
