waiting 'til the sun goes down, switching to the AM band, and seeing what I can pickup from New Orleans, Chicago, Cincinnati, Cleveland, San Antonio, and other places faraway....

Yes! I am the ONLY staffer on Elvis Radio left out of that list. Anonymity and/or lack of talent continue to dog me, it seems.

But, you're right. Elvis Radio is a very pro-Memphis platform.

But....ElvisRadio IS NOT a local show.
Are we talking "Locally Produced" show?
EP Radio is a very narrow formatted (anything BUT LOCAL) show.
They do a fantastic job of what they do.
We'll see that again someday with an "All Michael Jackson" Sat. station, too, I think.
Other than the Beatles, they are the only two artisits you could do that with. (That I can think of)
The Willie Nelson and Jimmy Buffet stations play a lot of other artists, too.
ElvisRadio only plays Elvis from what I've heard.

That lady that does the midday shift on 990 is interesting and very pro fresh anul.

But I can't pick up that station after sundown here in Cordova.
