Best mixshow in phoenix?

thats a pretty bold statement to make about a unknown internet station & even more so unknown dj's BENNY. But I guess you know more than all of us ...right?

Im gonna have to agree with radiodude, how on god's green beautiful earth can you compare those virtual unknown dj's to the list left on previous pages? Benny, I know they're probably your homies & you're saying things you're supposed to say to defend them, but be real! That list is right on point!

Um looks like some people on this board sound as if they know Phoenix radio mix scene and mix djs in general, its obvious they only know a few names they have dropped to sound as if they know whats up & who's who.

Here's a lil info on the mixers on a lil known internet radio station KRCKRADIO.COM some are mixers from power & local Phoenix night clubs as well as an on air djs, looks as if Benny was just adding to a topic of mix shows & mix Djs and radiodude went to specific and excluded some djs that already earned recognition to add flavor to the topic.
Lets be fair here radio is not just AM/FM anymore lets give everyone the opportunity to get props.

fairness has nothing to do with this, internet will never be as recognized as am/fm radio.....no matter what! it's an entirely different entity, its like comparing basic tv to satelite ! now if you just wanted to give those guys on krack some shine, then just say so, but in my personal opinion, that anyone on that list radiodude left would destroy any of the krack dj's.

wow, looks like we have a debate goin on now!( see what i started LOL) i guess we should let everyone get the same attention as the list i put down.....not!!!!! this aint a communist society, if those internet dj's want equal shine, then they have to put in countless years of work like those guys have. nuff said

As I said you don't know who your talking about!
There are alot more radio mixers on air then the 2 or 3 you named, I agree they are GREAT Mixers. I am wondering the last 2 to respond to me I got a question 4 you " not to fight or be negative....Are either one of you radio dj's or Mixers? seems to me your 2 personal in you comments so I would like to know what makes your opinions so 100% right and no room for the "Godfather Benny Arce" of 103.9fm 8yrs, Power92 2yrs & 1060kukq 6yrs & live on air Mix show exp & hard earned radio time in Phoenix wrong with his opinion other then the Internet radio difference?

Oh 1 more thing POWER 98 is streaming online, Latino Vibe streaming online, Moving 97.5fm also streaming online...........Wait thats all Internet RADIO! which Validates the internet as a way to reach their listeners. Lets not forget about KRAZY KID's internet radio station www.thevirus.com

streaming is based off what is played on the R A D I O!!!!!!!!!! cmon u can understand that ...can't you? and no ia m not a mixer, just a radio geek, and for the record i never heard of the dog father benny arce...who is that?

Now its getting personal on this board this reminds of the early days of this radio board 1998-2001,I thought everyone was more mature now,at least most are.

Radiodude I don't know you but I have seen many of your post on this board for some time now, you say your a radio geek thats fine I got no promblem with someone outside the industry sharing their opinion, I've been on valley radio for sometime now 1983-2004 as Benny Arce, the Godfather & Jack MeHoff from the edge 103.9 The "dogfather" thats Snoop Dogg!. Any way I was just adding to conversation of the topic which I do have the experience to have a professional opinion on this board.
Why are you being a rude geek? :)
Thanks partypro for your positive post to this board looks like we hit nerves & its probably not over.

dog father!!!!!! lol, sorry benny ,but that was funny!!!!!! And for everyone else, here's a lil advice .....relax!!!!! Dont take it personal.......wow thats two songs right there( frankie goes to hollywood & monica)

lmao: Mr Needlove whats your favorite mixshow & mixer? to get back to the topic! & I know you've been here long enough to do a proper break :)

;D well if i had to pick 1, Im gonna have to go with the mixer who plays the music I like, which is house, and im going with radiofan's pick: DJ KILO, actually he spins hip hop & top 40, i used to go to this club on the westside a few years back & he used o jam out with dj gottem & dj kaos. who you got benny?

"this aint a communist society, if those internet dj's want equal shine, then they have to put in countless years of work like those guys have. nuff said"

Sorry, I am new to this board, but have been reading..and frankly I cant believe some of these comments. LOL
Radiofan01 and deelove seem to not realize...that ALOT of "radio dj's" are actually the same that are performing in the clubs...and are leaving radio to go to the internet radio shows.

I know lots of local talent that have not been on the radio, that could totally kick ass.
DJ Kevin Brown has been at it for over 20 years, and he freakin rocks. That is just to name one, because I feel there are way TOO many that could fit into this category. But to say that internet DJs have not put in the same time is just rediculous.(sp) ;)

kevin brown??? i've heard the commercials" he's been enraptured with progressive house for over 20 yrs!" that was last year , so lets do the math 20 minus 2006 would be 1986, house was just barely going mainstream in chicago( the birthplace of house) so if it was just gettin started out there, how in the world could he be "enraptured" with progressive house if it didnt EXIST yet!!!!!!!!!!!! nice try guys ! :-[

D'love!
Im wondering what your talking about, looks like they posted that other Dj's have put in time to get recognized on this board, some of you on this board have a narrow focus on music , this is not chicago or any other back east state although alot of you came from back east this market has grown in its own way and is still growing.
Please rermember what you left behind grew there and you need to get use to whats grown here, be patient and add your flavor to the mix but don't get mad if it doesnt grow as fast as you like it to.

???Im a lil on the shocked side I must say...You claim to be a radio geek, Yet you have never heard of Benny Arce? I remember listnin to him on KUKQ, when I was in elementary school. He,in my personal opinion, has enough credentials to voice his professional opinion.

(thats a pretty bold statement to make about a unknown internet station & even more so unknown dj's BENNY. But I guess you know more than all of us ...right?)

And did you not say,deelove,:
"internet will never be as recognized as am/fm radio.....no matter what! it's an entirely different entity, its like comparing basic tv to satelite ! "
But then radiodude says:
"streaming is based off what is played on the R A D I O!!!!!!!!!! " which would make them one and the same, would it not?

Oh, and as far as Kevin Brown goes...

"kevin brown??? i've heard the commercials" he's been enraptured with progressive house for over 20 yrs!" that was last year , so lets do the math 20 minus 2006 would be 1986, house was just barely going mainstream in chicago( the birthplace of house) so if it was just gettin started out there, how in the world could he be "enraptured" with progressive house if it didnt EXIST yet!!!!!!!!!!!! nice try guys !"

You do realize that KB is over 40 years young....right? And to be specific....He has been on the decks for 20 some odd years. And if house was just getting mainstream in 86, so what? That does not mean that, seeing as how he was already a dj in 83, he wasnt perfecting his version of "house" before or even as it was going main stream. you know....in order for something to get to mainstream, it has to start some where. And there has to be people playing it in order to get it there.

wow, you guys are gettin' too personal with your opinons!!!! take it easy, it's not that serious, tell you what, i'll leave this topic for the rest of you " experts" ! peace

Actually, my personal opinion makes no diff, i guess. Because It is really hard to say how talented a DJ is or is not when they have to abide by a format. in that respect, I think that the DJ on the internet radio shows prolly have more freedom, unless I am mistaken.
