Best Music Personalities In Atlanta

I thought this would be a fun, positive thread with lots of varying responses. There's lots of discussion about the talk anchors in town, but who are your favorite personalities on the music-intensive stations?

Still thinking about my list so I'll chime in later or tomorrow, but I'm curious to hear you guys' thoughts.

My favorites are Alpha Trivette and Kelly McCoy. (both fro B, caller10 should be happy).

National DJs- Dick Biondi from 94-7 WLS and Karen Sharpe from KOST-103.7

Kaedy Kiely. But you already knew that.

Local:

- Lewis - 99X Afternoons (he has his own show on comcast on demand)

National:

- Stryker on KROQ afternoons, one of the best jocks in national alternative radio.

- Psycho Mike Catherwood from loveline and also on KROQ.

If voicetracked talents count, I'll add a fourth M - Madison from The Bull.

Favorite music talent in Atlanta is Chase Daniels from Star 94. Heather Branch is probably my first runner-up, and while we're covering Star, I'm enjoying Orff as well. I agree with Mara, Kaedy and Margot. Tripp West rounds out my list of favorites. Don't really listen to any of the Urban stations (unless Wild counts, which I don't think it does), so I can't evaluate their talents.

Adam Bomb on Q100. Wherever he does his show, he still has more energy and personality than most "Dj's" in Atlanta.

Agreed -- she's got a great delivery. For a while she was one of Clear Channel's hardest-working trackers, based out of Birmingham and doing a.m. drive on 102.5 the Bull, middays on 103.7 the Q, as well as the Bull in Atlanta, Y100 in Miami and The River in Nashville.

Mike Stoudt at the Fish. His show has a lot of listener interaction and it was beating Deliah before she was dropped by B. He's still beating B and is doing very well in his demo.

Steve McCoy hands down to bad no one has brought him back ... ATL radio is not the same... too bad corporations ruin local radio ... Enjoy Steve Craig on Dave FM in mornings ... use to listen to Steve and Vikki in morning and then Steve on 99x back in the day.
