Okay, we've seen best and worst of PDs, on air tallent, and AE's...what about board ops and Producers? What are the best board ops and Producers you've worked with? (And of course, Doc Bryce will manage to make his way up here many times ;))

Yep, Doc Bryce gets nominated for both board-op and producer...

He's done a helluva lotta both, and better than most.
______________

I'd have to say Randy James of KZPS is a kick-ass morning show producer. I miss working with all those guys.
______________

I was a pretty good board-op and producer.

Untill I got let go. But I thought I was good.

Randy Williams at WBAP,Dave Micheals Producer,John MCCarty Producer, and of course DOC.

Considering the customary mention of thanks at the end of each broadcast, plus the occasional moments of genuine color commentary pertaining to my services, Steve and Ed would most likely proclaim I am an exceptional game night producer for our sports broadcasts on KEOM. I’ll just allow my proficiency to speak for itself, rather than subjecting myself to the hideous temptations of shameless self-promotion. :)

with everything that they had to deal with, I have to say that the board ops at 990 did a helluva job with that station...all things considerd. Proud to, at one point, call them my co-workers.

As for Producers...I'm surprised no one has yet to mention Connie Hererra, Dan Lewis, or "Mother" Garcia.
______________

This is really going back into time-- but I thought that Corby Davidson when he was Chris Arnolds Board-Op and Producer was pretty slick-- and I also thought that Allen Free did a great job as a Producer (told you this was going back in time).. and I think Connie is tremendous talent as a producer and as a booker-- then of course my main man-- The Dance Man-- Dwayne Dancer! NUFF SAID!

Just a thought!
______________
