I will be traveling to North Carolina for the first time in a couple months, and am interested in doing some bandscans. Given that ground conductivity for AM is poor in the Southeast (as I found out firsthand in Florida last year), I was wondering where an ideal location would be for an AM scan in the Triad. (Kernersville, possibly? Because of its centralized location between the three main cities, is my reasoning.) If not, I’ll probably do scans in each individual primary city. I know there are many AM stations in the market, some being adjacent channels, and I’m wanting to get most, if not all, of them.
(Also, I intend to do some scans in the Triangle and in/around Charlotte, and would be interested in ideal, centralized locations for AM scans.)
