Best Radio Promotions EVER

Since things seem to be slow here (i.e. redundant) I was wondering what the radio-info peeps had to say about the promotions side of things of radio...

Do any on-air or on-site promotions stand out for their creativity and success in your memories??? Any of them get people really talking around the city???

Q100's Free Money Fugitive is one that comes to mind... really got people talking, even though it HAD been done in many other markets, it was new and innovative for people in THIS market that had never heard it...

Let's hear whatcha got...

The Morning X did I believe it was Urban Survivor. Where they stuck a bunch of people in an apartment and the winner gets a car maybe. It was right after the first survivor but it was a real good promo. Integrated into the morning show and afternoon drive.

99x used to have a yearly contest called 'The 99xPedition', where a trip for two was offered to the winner of a lottery-type contest.

I especially liked it because, in 1995, my wife and I were the winners, and went to Australia for 16 days, all expenses paid.

"CRIKEY, what a trip!"
