WRTT 95.1 The Rocket Huntsville
WMXN 101.7 The Storm - Stevenson / Ft. Payner / Scottsboro
WGMZ Z 93.1 Gadsden

My point exactly!!!!! Its bad when your favorite station that you listen to is a 100 + miles away in another city. Doesn't say too much about radio in Montgomery...or Does IT???????

WHHY gets my vote...

Y-102 is nowhere near what is was in the mid-seventies (from what I've been told by Skipper, John and Rad...I was born in '80) or late nineties, but it is sounding really, really good lately.

My only complaint is Rick and Bubba. Nothing against the show, but Y-102 has always had a local morning show. It's just awkward to me. Oh, and the Cardio Club lunch Hot Mix hour...not a big fan of that, either. I just can't handle the POOH SSS POOH SSS POOH SSS remixes during the day...save it for Fridays and Saturdays.

Nonetheless...Steve, Joey D and the rest of the guys over there have earned a well-deserved golf clap and grope on the hiney...they're good people.
______________

Yeah, Y-102 back in the day was the real deal. I can remember DXing them when I was a kid and being excited when I found them. Sure beat Q107 up here in Florence. Can't receive them hardly anymore because of some lame station in Mississippi somewhere.

I don't know who you are...but.. I think Y-102 sounds better than it has in years!!!!!!!!! I love the station now... except for Dick & Blubber....

and that's what Skipper says.

but..The Best Station In Montgomery is 95.1 THE FOX.... end of story!

i really wish the fox streamed, I somewhat based my stream off of it, mostly classic rock with new rock thrown in, passed through montgomery and kept it on 95.1 as long as i could before it faded out completely
______________

That's what I'm saying Skip-daddy. Y-102 sounds awesome right now! It's not so urban anymore...less Ludacris, more Matchbox 20.

And, you know I'm more than a little partial to Y-102...Y is where I learned a staff shirt and using Garrett's name in a bar could get pretty girls to talk to me. Still works, too.

BTW...this is Justin, your little fat buddy over at Bluewater.
______________

Thank you, I work hard to translate it for Montgomery. I hope to have my receiver signal problems resolved very soon.
______________
And how do we know that? Research, man, research! We surveyed 98 People in Sheboygan, Wisconsin and they said that Montgomery listeners are all dumb rednecks that listen to Skynyrd 24/7.
