Best Stations in LA?

I agree with Michael and note the pro-music, anti-talk and sports bias in the responses.

KNX certainly deserves its "honorable mention" but is usually beaten out in ratings by "live and local" talker KFI, which remains king of the AM dial and has a pretty good news and traffic crew as well. Both have fine signals, ratings and billings. And over on FM what about NPR's KPPC and KCRW?

As for sports I'll go with KLAC because of signal strength and the fact that they carry both the Bruins and Dodgers.

89.9 Modern Eclectic
100.3 Classic Rock
106.7 Modern Rock
