Best stream database?

I've been using Reciva's radio station database to listen to different radio stations, but it is sometimes unreliable because stations switch streaming providers and other things mess it up. I've looked into using RadioTime, but BBC stations won't work from there. Does anyone have a good database that can reliably access US stations as well as international ones?

I don't even know how you got any stations to to work period. I don't get their instructrions whether i try to add them or add a stream. Nothing takes. I gave up omn that piece of crap.

Best database I've found is the Shoutcast Directory listings. However for the few Internet Radio stations that don't use Shoutcast, they don't get listed.
