BEST WINTER STORM COVERAGE

It had to be Ch.11. They stayed with it all day,and delaying all the soap operas until after midnight. The weather crew rotated with Khristine, Mike and the others. Khrisitne started out with her usual stutter but amazingly quickly calmed down. The field reporters were excellent, telling it the way it was with no melodramatic phrasing. Ch.5 stayed with it as well but it was painful to watch with their stressed out voices, anchors giving overeacting stern looks, and their young weather guy was just reading the wire. Ch.8 did well, and Morticia did not give traffic information but Mike Shannon did( thank God. Ch.4 apparently thought their Judge programs were more important, and fumbled the ball. Kudos to Ch.11. they also explained how to get quick and complete information on their websitee for travel, video reports and weather information. KTVT has moved up quite a bit. I expect by May they will be Number 1 at this rate.

Your welcome sort of. 1) I do not and have never work(ed) for Ch.11. It seems like the old Channel 8 vets over there are doing a better job than there old station is doing. Pretty sad when Ch.8 USED to be professional in knowing how to report news.2) By your nic it appears you onced work for Ch.8. It must bother you to see a highly respected news organization fall to such disgrace. Only the weather department and two news anchors plus one reporter are any the only redeeming aspect of that station. When they reported on the strom last night and showing the hiways, they showed a house on fire while still describing the streets with no word about where the house fire was.Kathy Clements- Hill needs to go.
