Best Wishes to John Baker

From The Radio People:

"John has informed us that he has agreed to accept the position of operations manager for Cumulus' seven station cluster in Fayetteville, Arkansas. While we are disappointed to see John leave, this is a great opportunity for him; Fayetteville is market #134, which is approximately the size of Jackson, Mississippi. It will also be a great challenge, as running a seven station cluster is an arduous task.

John has graciously agreed to remain with us until his replacement is found, and we are very appreciative of this.

I am grateful to John for the many contributions he has made here and for his loyalty and friendship. Please join me in wishing him well in this exciting new endeavour."

Sorry to see you go John, but it has been a privilige to know and work with you; I hope that big things will be in store for you at your new venue! ;D, Xeno

Class guy from from I hear. Congrats and best wishes. Any word on his replacement?

Best of luck to John.

Hopefully he wasn't an indirect casualty of the mystery wrapped in an enigma known as Amy Pollard.
I think the Holladays expected higher numbers for the big dog.

He was a dick but he was a classy dick. I hear that Gary Michaels is out too. Any conformation on this?

Maybe he's a classy "Richard". Good guy, really gets it. Sad to see the market lose more talent, a very tough replacement for the Radio People but they've the contacts necessary to do it. I wish Bakerman all the best in party ....ummm....college town Arkansas. Hey, maybe he'll run for President in 2012 like everyone else living in that state seems to do.

I think that Dothan should always have the top 5 posts on this board.
