Best/Worst local TV news stations (by network)?

Look at KTLA in LA it was riding on the lines of KTVU in the 80's and 90's before Channel 5 went on the lines of HLN.

KTLA has bounced back a bit to their legitimate newscasts of old lately. Outside of the KTLA Morning News which has always been a chucklefest their news has gone back to it's roots that made them #1 in Los Angeles.

I agree with you now when Micah Olman of KABC was sent to KTLA and when Micah and the KTLA crew covered the Bell Scandal. At least in 2010 KTLA did make an attempt to get over their HLN imitation from 2008.

Here's the scorecard in Southeast Arkansas (Little Rock AR + KTVE El Dorado AR)

Best to Worst

KARK (NBC Nexstar LR)
KLRT (FOX Newport LR)
KTHV (CBS Gannett LR)
KATV* (ABC Albritton LR)
KTVE* (NBC Nexstar El Dorado AR)

*SDTV only local newscasts.

Note, I didn't include distant stations WXVT, WABG, KNOE, or KAQY since I can't pick those up 24/7 this far upstate. I also didn't include KARZ which broadcasts a KARK-branded newscast at 7-8AM and 7-7:30pm weekdays.
