Best/Worst Segs Ever

I felt like I was back in the Pandora Beta days today--- on a local broadcast station--- segue from Thin Lizzy to Buddy Holly--- Priceless!

What is your best/worst seg ever?

Two I can remember. Last note of Isaac Hayes' "Theme From Shaft" into the piano glissando at the beginning of the Jackson 5's "I Want You Back".....and last note of Santana's "Black Magic Woman/Gypsy Queen" into the first note of "Let's Go" by the Cars.

Heard on Mix locally eons ago: Hoobastank into Bryan Adams' 'Everything I Do...' with no drop between. It was hideous.

Yes "Starship Trooper" into Aretha Franklin "Respect" on the original FOX 94.9. Straight segue. Nothing in between. Will never forget that one. Two great songs but not back to back like that. Completely different genres.

Best one: "School's Out" by Alice Cooper into "Love's Theme" from Love Unlimited Orchestra. On an automated FM in the 70's. As Alice ended with the sound of the school bell/kids gradually slowing down and the violins opened the next song, low notes to high. Nice!

Late one night while I was jocking at a station that played anything that was round and didn't have pepperoni on it, I tried to dream up the worst seg ever. So I went from Roberta Flack's "First Time Ever" into Led Zeppelin's "Communication Breakdown'. Yeah, it was dreadful. But I felt good for a week just knowing that I had done it!
