A friendly reminder to all my brothers and sisters in the biz. Make sure your resume and air check is up to date. I've been reminding people for many, many (groan) MANY years how important it is to have these tools ready and stored at home.
If you think "Oh, they wouldn't let me go... I'm too valuable, I'm loyal, I've got good ratings", well think again. Did anyone really think they'd let Sue Treccase go? Olivia Fox? How about Maverick down at CTQ?
And please don't think this post is a slam against Clear Channel. ANYBODY in the talent end of this business should be on guard and preparded to sit on the beach.
