Bi-national simulcasts

In the McAllen-Brownsville market, BMP Radio is simulcasting ''La Lupe'' (a Spanish oldies/variety format)
on FM 89.1 and AM 620 from Reynosa, Mexico and AM 840 in Pharr, Texas.

They simulcast ''La Ley'' (Mexican Regional) on FM 102.5 from Reynosa and FM 92.7 from South Padre Island, Texas.

True I didn't tune in to 840.
But the 89.1 FM mentioned the 620 (XEGH) and 840 (KVJY) simulcast frequencies in its liners.

I wouldn't blame BMP for dumping Spanish Christian. That's a very crowded field considering the size of the audience:
KRIO 910 Mcallen
XERKS 940 Reynosa
KUBR 1210 San Juan
KRGE 1290 Weslaco
KBNR 88.3 Brownsville
KOIR 88.5 Edinburg
KBIC 105.7 Raymondville

You were right. 840 AM as of 10:06 pm is simulcasting La Lupe. I last tuned in to 840 at the time of my last post and they were running different programming than La Lupe.
