BIG 100/Washington DC to Debut the New "Don Geronimo Show"

Interesting.

Based on the content description, would not surprise me in the least if the "show" consists of prerecorded voicetracks.

Perhaps...there's a lot of that taking place at that station. They've been VT mornings since July when Tommy Griffiths left.

Geronimo is a very familiar voice who's been trying to get back on radio for a while. This station is perfect for his demo.
 
So the show debuted last week. Reviews are mixed. Here's one from Sean Ross:


My take is that all the talk is going to kill ratings. Get rid of interviews. Get rid of talking about himself and his life. Get rid of talking about the station and its staff. Just be a DJ. Nothing else. Play lots of music, make the music the star, and get out of the way. But that's just my view.
