Stop down today (June 11)for the "Big 1220 WGAR Means Music and More" Reunion that will be help from 11 AM to 3 PM at the Colonial Marketplace Arcade at 530 Euclid Avenue. The event is free to the public as well as anyone who ever worked in radio in the past.

The Colonial Marketplace Arcade is located in downtown Cleveland and the best way to park and enter the Marketplace Arcade is to take East 9th. Street and turn West onto Prospect Avenue and enter the Arcade on the Prospect side since there is really no parking available on the Euclid side.

Some of those attending include: Kevin O'Neill, The Real Bob James, Phil Gardner, Ted Alexander, Bill Ward, Ed Richards, Stoney Richards, Bob Becker, Bob Reymont, Mark Kreiger, Jim Acaro, David Lawrence, Norm N. Nite, Bill Conners, Chuck Collier, Chick Watkins and many others.

Bring a camera and your memories and hope to see you there!!!
"What"s your comment - call 578-1220 because WGAR listens to you"
"This is a Station of Nationwide Communications-W-G-A-R"

We celebrated 1930 to 1987, with the staff that worked there then...so many showed up today especially from the 1970's era, chick watkins, bob james, norm nite, ted alexander, kevin o'neill, bob reymont, bill ward, bill kozel, mark kreiger, ed richards, ken robinson, mark demarino, chuck collier, bob becker and so many more, and also others from many different radio stations!!!

It was great! A salute to Jim Davison, and everyone involved in putting it together. Seeing the Cleveland Radio museum display was also great!

You always have these things on a Saturday when I have to work and cant get up there that easily..Glad everybody had a good time..

Wasn't able to make it downtown on Saturday. Ray Glasser did a video on YouTube, which is now also posted to our blog item.

Thanks to Nathan for "representing the brand", if you will, and I'm sorry I missed you, Chris!
